Thirty Day Challenge: update

If you haven't yet taken up The Thirty Day Challenge, I highly recommend it. Not only will it cost you nothing, but you stand to gain an amazing amount of knowledge.

The forum is one of the hottest IM communities online, with over 4,000 posts, and hundreds, if not thousands of members. You can browse, but you'll be unable to post or join in, unless you're registered.

And what makes this forum quite unique is a level playing field for all, with the same goal in site. All members have access to the same free tools, step-by-step training in the form of podcasts, videos, a blog and of course the forum itself. Everyone is so friendly and willing to help out anyone who's struggling.

Although individual teams, the majority of which have three to six members, are forming, the forum as a whole has a great feeling of team spirit.

Teams members will work individually on thier own projects, while encouraging and helping each other.

Our team of six, 'Team Funivation', includes members from The US, UK and Indonesia. That's Mike, Dianna, Cory, Dave, Steph and Jaz. Tommorow will see our first official team meeting, via Skype, to get to know each other and shoot the breeze.

During pre-season training (the actual challenge begins on August 1st), participants have been introduced to some very cool, time-saving tools. During August, Ed and the Marillion Team will be showing you how to use them for maximum productivity.

If you're not an expert on Digg, Delicious, Twitter, Bloglines, Firefox or Facebook, to name a few, you'd be doing yourself a great injustice if you don't get involved - right now!

See you there,
Steph.
